The Punjab Education, Curriculum, Training and Assessment Authority (PECTAA), School Education Department, Government of the Punjab, has invited applications from qualified and experienced professionals for the development and review of teachers’ training materials for the new curriculum (ECCE to Grade 5).
PECTAA is developing a comprehensive curriculum for Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) to Grade 5. The authority seeks subject specialists, educationists and experienced professionals to develop and review training materials, teachers’ handbooks and manuals.
This recruitment offers opportunities for qualified professionals in seven different subject areas.

PECTAA invites applications for 15 Developers / Reviewers in each of the following subjects:
- ECCE – 15 Positions

Eligibility Criteria and Qualifications
Applicants must fulfil the following eligibility requirements:
- At least a Master’s degree (16 years of education) in the relevant subject from an HEC-recognized institution.
- For ECCE, a Master’s degree or Diploma in ECCE or Early Childhood Education.
- Additional professional qualifications will be considered an advantage.
Required Experience
Candidates must have:
- A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in developing face-to-face training materials.
- Experience in developing Trainer Manuals, Trainee Manuals and Handouts, preferably at the primary level.
- Experience in developing LMS-based content, including storyboarding, interactive activities, video scripting, online assessments and micro-level LMS entry.
- A sound understanding of SLO-based curriculum, activity-based learning and adult learning principles.
- Good command of written English and Urdu.
Terms and Conditions
Selected Developers / Reviewers will perform assignments as specified by PECTAA, including:
- Studying the new curriculum, SLOs, cross-cutting themes and progression grids.
- Preparing training designs and module outlines.
- Developing face-to-face training manuals, trainee manuals, handouts, worksheets and presentation slides.
- Developing asynchronous LMS modules with embedded activities, video scripts and assessments.
- Reviewing materials for alignment with curriculum and SLOs.
- Ensuring accuracy, originality, gender sensitivity and cultural appropriateness.
- Coordinating with PECTAA teams to ensure timely completion of assignments.
The engagement will be on an assignment/deliverable basis. Remuneration shall be paid as per PECTAA-approved rates, subject to satisfactory completion of assigned tasks.
Only shortlisted candidates may be called for an interview or sample task. No TA/DA will be admissible.
